Subject: JFK Laos 1961 key dates Date: Sat, 26 Jun 1999 08:17:06 -0400 From: "James K. Olmstead" Newsgroups: alt.conspiracy.jfk Since I now have some people interested in my JFK related scripts I would like to share with those interested, project considerations. I did motion picture and still work during the 1967-68 period. My footage if available from LOC will be included.....slim chance......The guy that I replaced in 67 did much more in Laos then I did and his footage maybe available. If anyone has "additional" considerations concerning any POW/MIA or any political action during the 1959-1968LAOS period, please let me know. I'm making arrangements to gather historical footage and I do not want to miss any event that NEEDS TO BE CONSIDERED.......newspaper, articles of note by major publications do not have to be typed out or anything just the date of publication. I have the complete NYT accounts from 54-64 The following timeline was developed as a "61 baseline". From this base I researched LAOS operations 7 days before and 7 days after each date. Six JFK related scripts were developed from this timeline. The April period connected to Laos is a two part project, one that I'm developing for a local TV station. JFK visited Youngstown during the 1960 campaign and one of the first men killed in Laos was from Boardman, which is a communnity outside the Youngstown city limits. Several individuals that filmed the JFK visit offered me "home movies" of the event, which have never been presented to the public.....they will be included in both projects. If you feel that this period in JFK's Presidency is a minor consideration I would like to read your opinion on why you consider it a minor factor. Thanks.......jko LAOS 1961 2 Jan, SEATO in Bangkok, but deGaulle opposed intervention. Feb, pro-U.S. Gen. Phoumi lost Plain of Jarres to pro-communist Pathet Lao ........see map Sept. 1959 9 Mar, JFK declared continued support to Phoumi against external threat supported by the Wise Men. The NAVY....is overlooked............check on the "Enterprise" progress during this period. 1 Apr, Khru. said he would seek to establish a neutral Laos, but could not get Pathet Lao to stop fighting. 5 Apr, U.S. advisors without uniforms help Phoumi, but defeated by Apr. 14. Note.......See POW files of first 16 US servicemen killed......US public not informed of deaths connected to OWS.......one of the first 16 from Youngstown, Ohio........generate script outline 15-17 Apr, Bay of Pigs - popularity increased 20 Apr, JFK ordered advisors to wear uniforms - 4 captured Apr. 24 NOTE......PRIME SCRIPT considerations....month of April.
