Subj: The Tippit Slaying Section: To: Hank Sienzant, 73774,3535 Monday, January 09, 1995 12:22:51 AM From: Most of what you have posted is incorrect. You state that you never found a newsstory in which Helen Markham's disputed description of the Tippit killer was mentioned. Maybe that is only true because you have not looked. But then you go on to say that neither have I found a newsstory. As I stated before, I am still looking for more, but already I have found that one story which quotes her saying that the killer had BUSHY HAIR. BTW, notice that she also said that the killer was wearing a WHITE COAT. If she is such a reliable witness as you claim that she is, and you say that Oswald's coat was grey, then I guess that lets Oswald off the hook. In your blind hatred of Mark Lane you try to claim that there was no mention of those descriptions before his call to Mrs. Markham. I have already shown that some of that appeared in the newspaper long before Mark Lane called her. I think you need to retract your blanket statements and discuss specifics. Tony
