Especially to Dan Rather, CBS News:

     Does the CIA pay you enough that you are willing to sell your
immortal soul and continue to spew these anti conspiracy lies? Listed
below are the blatant lies you spewed out in the "Eyewitness to History"
segment of the July 9, 1998 episode of 48 Hours.

1. "November 23rd, 1963. For people lining the street of Dallas, Texas,
the unimaginable becomes reality."
President Kennedy was murdered on November 22nd, 1963, not November
23rd, 1963. Why do you even bother to lie about a basic fact like this?
Or do you just not know the difference? Maybe premature Alzheimer's?

2. "The official conclusion is that three shots were fired at the
President by a lone gunman, Lee Harvey Oswald."
That was the FIRST official conclusion. It is not the most current
official conclusion. In 1978 the HSCA officially concluded that there
were FOUR shots (one from the grassy knoll) and that Oswald was part of
a conspiracy.

3. "Because of conflicting eyewitness testimony, the debate over who
killed President Kennedy rages to this day."
That is not the only reason why debate rages to this day. Another reason
is the continuing questions about the evidence and the inadequacies of
the Warren Commission. Another reason is that better scientific
examinations uncovered previously undiscovered information in the
evidence. Another factor is the continued lies of the government
officials and their lackeys in the news media (i.e. YOU). Also, little
mistakes such as being off by 4 inches in identifying the location of
the entrance wound in the head fuel the debate.

4. "And a leading authority on the Kennedy assassination, Ferris
Rookstool [sp?]."
Who?? He is NOT a leading expert on the Kennedy assassination. No one
has ever heard of him. What has he ever written about the case?

5. "Not since the muzzleloaders have we really had smoke coming out the
end of rifle of this sort."
And your "expert" lied by agreeing with you. As the HSCA pointed out,
modern rifles DO emit smoke occasionally. There are numerous examples on
film, such as battle scenes from World War II, The Korean Conflict, and
the Vietnam War, where modern rifles clearly emit smoke. And if you
would take 5 minutes to look at the film of eight Chinese prisoners
being executed several years ago, one of the rifles in the background
emits a HUGE cloud of white smoke.

I don't expect that YOU would have as much guts to admit your mistakes
and lies the way CNN did recently, but at least you should not be
allowed to sleep smugly thinking that you are getting away with those
lies because the American public is too stupid to know when you are
lying.
