Anthony Marsh was born and spent his early years in the Washington D.C. area, where his father was a scientist at the National Security Agency. His family moved to the Boston area in the mid 1950's. He graduated from the Boston Conservatory of Music in 1971 with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education. He taught music and performed in local orchestras for several years. During the anti-Vietnam War years he became interested in the JFK assassination, primarily due to the writings of Carl Oglesby, a local anti-war activist. He joined Mark Lane's Citizens Commission of Inquiry and lobbied for the formation of the House Select Committee on Assassinations. When the HSCA ended in 1979, Anthony concentrated his research on areas which the HSCA had left incomplete, such as the physical evidence and especially the acoustical evidence. He has presented papers at several conferences, including COPA and The Third Decade. He has debated the JFK assassination on radio, written several critiques in local newspapers and several of his articles have been published in journals such as The Third Decade and JFK Lancer. Recently, most of his articles have been published on his Web site, The Puzzle Palace, at http://www.boston.quik.com/amarsh/
