AP 150 Years

On Feb. 1, 1968, AP photographer Eddie Adams followed a group of South Vietnamese National Police officers as they led a captured Vietcong officer around a corner in Saigon. When the police chief, Brig. Gen. Nguyen Nogc Loan pulled out his pistol to execute the officer, Adams took one of the Vietnam era's most horrific and infamous photos.
