Fudan University, Shanghai, 3 June 2005
While in Beijing for Yuan Hui's defense, I met Prof. Chen Jianmin, head of the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering at Fudan University. I told him I was planning a brief visit to see some of the students there, and he made it official. I came down on Thursday the 2nd of June, and visited the department on Friday the 3rd. I spent the morning meeting with students. The afternoon was devoted to more discussions, and then I gave a talk at 4:00. Here are some photos from that day.
