I like to look at the farm animals at fairs. Here are a few that we saw.

The parade of champions. Now if only they would behave like champions and cooperate!

The rooster-crowing contest. The kids were given ten minutes to cajole their roosters into crowing while the judges dutifully marked each success on the papers. Naturally, the real crowing began just as soon as the time was up.

We caught part of the horse-pulling contest after dark. Here is a team pulling one of the heavier loads.
