Waterbury, Vermont, 26-27 June 2007
I visited my friend Rich Poirot in Waterbury, Vermont, on
26 June 2007. Rich works at the Vermont Department of Environmental
Conservation, in the air pollution section. I wanted to explain to him our new
work on cycles of air pollutants in Beijing, and see whether it was the kind of
thing that Americans already knew about. (It wasn't.)
As I was leaving on the 27th, I took a quick series of photos
