(Text) Moscow--Moscow Television devoted its special
40-minute program today to the reaction of world public opinion to the
assassination of U.S. President John F. Kennedy.
The televiewers could see the photographs made a few hours
earlier at Vnukovo Airport in Moscow, when Anastas Mikoyan was leaving for the
United States to be present at John Kennedy's funeral, and also sequences from
American documentaries made three years ago when Kennedy was elected president.
The late President was shown in his family circle and also making his first
public speech.
The sequences, recorded on a video tape recorder through the
Eurovision system, showed the White House, where American statesmen, diplomats,
and the president's friends are paying last homage to the deceased.
At the conclusion of the program, Commentator Valentin Zorin
said that the attention of the world is still riveted on the tragic death of
President Kennedy. The commentator emphasized that contemporary fascists "seek
to revive the specter of the Reichstag fire."
