Doubt of Guilt

(Excerpt) Former Marine Lee Oswald, arrested by the Dallas
police on the charge of shooting President Kennedy, continues to deny the
charge. More than 24 hours after the attack, the results of ballistics tests and
fingerprints, which would confirm Oswald's part in the shooting, have not yet
been furnished. The paraffin test has proved negative.
Traces of gunpowder have been found on the hands of the
suspect (as received--ed.). It is recalled that Lee Oswald shot a policeman as
he was about to be arrested in a Dallas theater.
According to the experts, if the suspect had used the rifle
with which Kennedy was assassinated, there would be significant marks on his
face, but none were found. In the meantime, it is reported from Dallas that
police have arrested another person who has been charged with the murder of the
president. No information on the second suspect has been revealed.
