Tonight I viewed the new MPI release, but his time on DVD instead of video tape. I am astounded at the clarity. The running time of the DVD is almost twice the running timne of the video tape. More information is provided which included the entire WFAA-TV interview with Abe Zapruder and the enitre segmen from Good Night America with Geraldo Riviera and Robert Groden. (I will write more on my impressionsof what I saw. I was most move by a frame-by-frame slo-mo piece which use an extreme close-upo on JFK. Frames 313 to 320 almost show us something different, You can actually see his head explode open with more detail than ever seen before Though macabre I found myself viewing it and re-viewing it and being awestruck rach time.
Many places are selling the DVD for about the same cost of the Video tape. If you can, opt for the DVD. My DVD player is attached to my 32" TV in the family room and it makes for excellent study of the frames. More to come...
