Movable adverbs

With a few exceptions, the different positions create different meanings, however. Here are some exercises with these important little words.
To do. Here are five scientific sentences with little adverbs underlined. For each sentence, determine how many different places the underlined word can be placed. Write each version and explain how it changes the meaning from the original. (That means you also have to explain the meaning of the original.)
1. But other questions arise that can be answered now. (The underlining is not meant to emphasize the adverb, just to identify it.)
2. Biological samples often present the challenge of handling a dilute sample in a small volume.
3. Increasingly, it is becoming clear that protocols aimed at improving graft-specific tolerance will need to consider regulatory T cells.
4. The Dmanisi fossils are really the first group that is intermediary between Homo habilus and Homo erectus.
5. That means you also have to explain the meaning of the original. (!)
