Call for External
Participation in PSC482G via the Web
22 January 1999
Fellow JFK Researchers:
This spring semester, I am giving an upper-level course on the JFK
assassination in the University of Rhode Island's Political Science Department.
The course is designated PSC482G, "Political Science Seminar: The JFK
Assassination," and is attended mostly by juniors and seniors in the
department. (It is the same course referred to in the announcement for the
Providence Conference that I sent to each of you earlier today. I have given a
similar version of the course three times before, in the university's Honors
Department. We just had our second class today, and will continue until the end
of April. When I recently decided to make most of the materials for this course
available to the students via my web page, including items such as the syllabus,
the homework assignments, their answers, related materials, and maybe even
outlines of the individual classes, I realized that some of you might also be
interested in following the course. Please feel welcome to do so. The home page
for the course can be found at http://karws.gso.uri.edu/PSC482G/Intro482G.html
From there, you can link to the syllabus, assignments,
answers, etc. Also, feel free to send me any comments on the readings, the
questions, the answers, or even the course itself, and I will post them for all
to see. (But please always identify yourself.) I believe that spirited outside
participation will add significantly to the value of the course. Thank you in
advance for participating!
