Downtown 2

We are taking the trolley from the Adler Planetarium to the Field Museum. Note the boats everywhere.

The big attraction at the Field Museum was "Sue," the best-preserved Tyrannosaurus Rex ever found, that had been discovered in South Dakota (I think). I was particularly anxious to go because I hadn't seen her in 70 million years. You know what they say when meeting old friends, "She had changed a lot, but I hadn't."

The is what you see when Sue decides to go after a more succulent target than you.

This is the official plaque about Sue, "the best of the best." She always was a great kid, that Sue!

You forget how short a T. rex's front legs (almost arms) were until you see them this way.
