Guiyang, 18–27 May 2004
From Guangzhou, I went to pay a return visit to Guiyang and the Research Institute for Physical Testing and Chemical Analysis. The plan was to use my time to help understand their data on contamination in soils around Guizhou Province. We did that, but along the way discovered regional haze all over the province. During the visit I was officially made Visiting Professor at the Guizhou Academy of Sciences, in a little ceremony where I gave a talk on ways of interpreting data.
