Some Booths

We walked down a little path with booths on each side. Here are some of the things we saw there.

Out of a cloud of steam and with an awful scream came this wretched individual. This guy was either a really good actor or have seen too much terror in his time. Courtesy of "Trails to Terror" in Wakefield, RI.

It got even worse when we could see more of him. They poor guy was being boiled alive. Behind him were skeletons of other unlucky folks, some still with meat on the bones. I don't know about you, but it looks to me as though this unlucky guy had had his heart ripped out. Maybe "Trails to Terror" in Wakefield will be able to tell us more next October. On the other hand, maybe I don't want to know.

Then we came upon the chainsaw artist, who carves bears, birds, trees, etc. out of wood with his saw. I wonder how he cuts his roast beef

Here is a bear in the making.

Here are some of the finished products.

Yours truly with a bear. Note the eagle on the left.

This is perhaps the most ornate work of all.

A view of booths and people.

Want a temporary tattoo? This man and woman did. We demurred.
