      The second thread contained only two messages, one by C and a reply by JM. In a very short first message, C asked JM to confirm his judgment that the article implied nothing about whether Oswald was the lone gunman:

while this article my be right about the theory of the lone gunman I can't say it holds true for Oswald being the lone gunman. what you think?

JM responded in a long second message whose key sentence was its first:

I think the intent of the article was addressing critical thinking and theory more than Oswald’s guilt or not.

JM agreed with C, and the thread ended.
