Shihua Cave IV

The contrasting beauty of delicate little stalactites and huge stone columns.

It's hard to see here, but the little formation in the rear center by the red lights stood for some living creature whose identity I have forgotten.

Here we have the trunk of an elephant attached to the rear end of a horse.

Our guide is demonstrating translucent rock.

Lanzhi, me, and Donghui getting arranged for a picture. Our guide snapped it a little too soon.

Donghui and me after the tour of the cave.

The little village that has sprung up around the Shihua Cave. Next time, I hope we can see the whole thing!
