Xiamen City
We didn't have much time to spend in downtown Xiamen, so I got only a few pictures there. It's such a beautiful place that I would like to return for a longer visit.
Liqi and I stayed in the new Xiamen Yiyuan Hotel.
The hotel is named after older inns where riders who delivered mail by horse stopped to rest. Maybe they even used small carts like this, too.
Here are a couple of shots of downtown Xiamen near the foreign-language bookstore where I got some books and local DVDs.

This guy is selling some sort of confection. He may be from some other part of China, possibly Xinjiang.
