To the middle school
After lunch, we stepped across the street to the river. Kaiping could be called "The city on the river."
Lovely Girl (with the two Reader's Digests I had presented her for learning English), Joanne, Maple Leaf, and Katy.
We had to follow another taxi to the girls' school.
While stopped at a traffic light, I was able to snap this picture of a family on one of the ubiquitous motor scooters of southern China.
Now we have arrived at their middle school. I was surprised to find it on the river, which had houseboats along both banks.
I got the impression that some of these boats were for living and some for working.
Their school was much more beautiful than I had imagined. Here is the new gate.
