The building at the left rear was a film-processing plant, if I remember correctly. Interesting how it managed to get right in the middle of the neighborhood, although we didn't think much of it at the time. Maybe it preceded the houses.
The street in the rear is Vreeland Avenue. A block up the hill was Euclid School, where Madeline and I went.
