26. Constraints from Rhead vs. Rbullet—SL6A
This section investigates
constraints on the solutions from Snap/Lurch 6A supplied by Rbullet and Rhead.
Although SL6A provides somewhat less constraining power than SL7A does, it provides
ranges of answers that are more similar than different. This offers confidence that the constraints represent general features of the
system.
As with SL7A, this section presents the constraints separately for masses
of the head that range from 5 lb to 10 lb, and the last part summarizes the
constraints for these different conditions. As before, the
constraints, particularly for the lurch, are essentially independent of the mass
of the head. Most importantly, all the allowed speeds of the lurch are negative
and close to the observed value of about -0.8 ft s-1.
For mhead = 5 lb
For mhead = 6 lb
For mhead = 7 lb
For mhead = 8 lb
For mhead = 9 lb
For mhead = 10 lb
